Clinical Specialist
Job Purpose:
-
Enhances company competitive position by transferring laboratory product models to full-scale production.
Duties:
- Determines manufacturing requirements by studying current production methods; researching and exploring new or improved processes, process aides, systems, and technologies.
- Confirms new processes by designing experiments; establishing standards; scheduling trial runs; evaluating test results; adjusting processes.
- Prepares product specifications by studying cost/benefit relationships; evaluating suppliers.
- Documents actions by maintaining logs; compiling technical journals; collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; writing technical reports.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Preferred MS or PhD in immunology, cell biology, virology, molecular biology
- Problem solving, process management, self-motivation, process improvement, manufacturing quality
- Documentation skills, CAD proficiency
- Strong scientific writing and verbal communication skills essential
- Minimum of 3-7 years of clinical drug manufacturing experience
